Sophie has made her own family with her friends, particularly her best friend, Valentina, but she could be expanding her biological family with the reveal of her dad in How I Met Your Father season 2. It would be interesting to see how Sophie’s potential half-siblings fit into the story, especially since one of Barney’s younger siblings was a love interest of Ted’s.
