SSC CHSL 2023: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is all set to close the application registration process for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination today, on Thursday, June 8, 2023. Aspiring candidates who wish to apply for this examination must do so before the deadline on the official SSC website at https://ssc.nic.in/.
The SSC CHSL 2023 offers a total of 1600 vacancies for various posts such as Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operator.
The online application process began on May 9, 2023, and interested candidates have had a month to complete their applications. For General category candidates, the application fee for SSC CHSL 2023 is Rs. 100/-.
It is important to note that the selection process for this examination consists of two tiers. The Tier 1 examination is scheduled to be conducted between August 2 and 22, 2023.
The Tier 1 examination admit card will be released in July 2023, and candidates should keep an eye out for updates on the official website. The Tier 1 exam is an objective multiple-choice computer-based test.
Moving on to Tier 2, it includes an objective multiple-choice test along with a skill test and typing test. Tier 2 comprises three sections, each having two modules, and is also conducted in a computer-based online mode.
The SSC CHSL exam serves as a gateway to secure coveted positions as Assistants or Clerks. To qualify, candidates must successfully pass the computer-based test, descriptive paper, and skill test or typing test.
