Some time ago, the Samsung Galaxy S10 got an update including the October 2022 security patch. The South Korean company, however, did not stop there, confirming once again as one of the companies that take care of the most recent updates for their smartphones. In fact, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 +across Europe, are receiving a update with firmware G97xFXXUGHVJ5. The update, among other things, is also available for the Galaxy S10 5G in Switzerland, with firmware number G977BXXUDHVJ5.

As for the new features of this update, the change log mentions stability improvements for the “Camera” app as well as various optimizations for Bluetooth stability and for the operating system. Finally, the security patches of October 2022 could not be missing. The release, as mentioned above, should arrive in these weeks for all European users, who will be able to download it both manually and by phone, by clicking on “Settings” and then on “Software Update”, finally on “Download and Install”.

And speaking of updates, with the exception of the S10 Lite model, the Galaxy S10 range will not receive the update to the One UI 5.0 based on Android 13. Beyond this not exactly positive news, however, Samsung is showing that it does not want to forget any of its devices. In fact, as demonstrated by this update, no opportunity is lost to try to improve the user experience on many smartphones.
