On December 8thon the occasion of the global presentation of realme 10 Pro, the company’s new user interface will be officially announced, i.e. realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13. The goal of the update is to improve four key areas: design, interaction, fluidity and safety, to provide a whole new user experience.
Design
To overcome the problem represented by the high number of apps with which users interact, a more intuitive set of icons has been designed so as to orient oneself immediately. Therefore, the new interface will adopt a new layout that groups more information, while users will be able to optimize the card-style control center to quickly get the main information. Finally, floral wallpaper and a clock with shadow reflections will also be offered.
Interaction
Realme UI 4.0 features some interesting information such as AOD smart music. For example, when the user uploads a song to Spotify, they will be able to view the music player without unlocking the phone. Also, the phone will suggest 4 playlists and by double tapping the AOD, the player will turn into an interactive panel.
The new interface will also adopt the Bitmoji, which will be able to show the user’s behavior and status in the real world to offer more entertainment.
Fluidity
Debuts the new Dynamic Computing Engine that boosts overall performance and reduces power consumption, providing users with a smooth and long-lasting experience. Overall performance has been improved by 10% while battery life while gaming has increased by 4.7%. Additionally, the company has optimized the animations with the Quantum Animation Engine 4.0, implemented to provide a more intuitive experience as you switch between applications. There are also improvements to adaptive layouts with new features, such as the new Waterfall Content Self-Adaption
Security and privacy
A new privacy tool has been adopted, namely Private Safe based on Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). Among other things, the new 0 interface features a new function called “Auto Pixelate” with which users can automatically pixelate information with a simple click through screenshots taken from instant messaging apps such as Whatsapp and Messenger, avoiding revealing information personal.
Finally, before the official release of realme UI 4.0, the company launched the realme widget UI Co-Creation 2022 project to inspire fans and designers around the world to develop innovative and interactive designs for realme UI 4.0. The project received more than 1,500 submissions from 15 countries around the world. The selected ideas will be unveiled at the next realme 10 Pro launch event on December 8th.
