Elizabeth Holmes was 19 when, in 2003, she decided to leave the university to found his own agency and build the machine that can perform over a hundred clinical tests with a single drop of blood. An idea that, added to the charisma of the woman and her imageblack turtleneck and deep voice, whose inspiration and model was Steve Jobs, had over time convinced high-profile investors, including Rupert Murdoch and Herny Kissinger.

Over time, however, the promises of Theranos have proved themselves impossible to maintain. So November 18 is a field date for Holmes’s future. Her ex-boyfriend and chief operating officer of Theranos Ramesh Balwaniconvicted of fraud on twelve counts, is expected to know his fate in early December.
