There Lamborghini Huracan off-road has attracted a lot of attention from fans, and after months of rumors that preceded the launch for a month now it’s official. However in Sant’Agata Bolognese they announced that production will start in February 2023, and the first of the 1,499 units expected they will be delivered at the end of 2023, so you won’t see any on the street.
Until then, the curious would have had to settle for the press images distributed at the launch which, let’s face it, have something artificial about them. The interesting material to better understand the proportions, lines and sound of the Huracan Sterrato comes from a youtuber, Varryxthat filmed three specimens near the company headquarters.
Of the three, the most interesting is the one in offroad configuration, in the same golden color as the press images but, if possible, even more aggressive thanks to the black and red decals that go from the bonnet to the roof. The plastic wheel arches are very pronounced and seem to have been borrowed from an off-road vehicle of yesteryear and give it a completely peculiar look, for a supercar that has been raised by 44 mm compared to the classic Huracan but which remains close to the to the ground.
In a car that ordinarily only has windows and a windshield, the Dueler AT002 tyres that Bridgestone has created especially for the Sterrato. From the side view, the specific design of the tread is evident, with some carvings of unusual dimensions for a car 1.25 meters high. The price of the Huracan Sterrato has not been revealed, but probably the typical customer of a custom-built car of this type doesn’t even care.
