Uncle Scrooge he is 75 years old. The December 15, 1947 the legendary Carl Barks, known to history as the “Dad of Ducks”, introduced a character destined to go down in history to the cast of Disney stories: Scrooge McDuck, renamed in Italy Scrooge McDuck. The richest duck in the world is about to celebrate an important anniversary of his honorable career.

To celebrate such an important anniversary, Panini Comics has put together a series of special releases: Life and dollars of Scrooge McDuckwith seven “cult” stories signed by Carl Barks himself; Planet Scroogewith four stories on the life of the richest Duck in the world signed by Vito Stabile and Marco Rota; Scrooge McDuck’s Klondike, with the best stories set in the wild lands where Scrooge amassed his first nuggets; and the reissue of the unmissable De Scrooge saga by Don Rosa.

For more than 70 years, Uncle Scrooge has been the prime mover of countless fantastic adventures, expeditions in search of treasures and riches, missions in the most remote corners of the earth and even in the depths of the cosmos. Few characters have captured the affection of readers as much as the grumpy, stingy uncle, yet over the years more and more evidently fond of his nephews and family. Here is a selection of unmissable stories from the last 75 years, one per decade; seven unmissable adventures… and a half, with a “bonuses” out in the next issues of the weekly baby mouse.
