Uttar Pradesh Police has conducted the online written examination for Sub Inspector (Confidential) / Sub Inspector (Confidential Vigilance), Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk) / Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerical Vigilance), Assistant Sub Inspector (Accounts) on December 4, 2021 and December 5, 2021.Due to the large number of candidates appearing in the written examination, the examination was conducted in total 4 shifts, hence the normalization of marks has been done as per the provisions contained in the rules.
After the online written examination, the provisions of the rules for scrutiny of records and inviting candidates for physical standard examination, the procedure mentioned in the release, the orders of the Hon’ble Court in this regard and keeping in mind the provisions of reservation for the posts advertised. About 2.5 times the candidates are being called for scrutiny of records and standard examination.
The cutoff marks of the candidates to be called for scrutiny of records and standard test under different categories are as follows.
A) Sub Inspector (Confidential) / Sub Inspector (Confidential Vigilance), Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk) / Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerical Vigilance) in Uttar Pradesh Police
B) Assistant Sub Inspector (Accounts) in Uttar Pradesh Police
The process of review of the records of the candidates and physical standard examination is proposed to be done on the districts of the zonal headquarters, the detailed information regarding the date and place of which will be published separately on the website of the board.
According to the provisions, a computer typing test of qualifying nature will be conducted for the review of records and the successful candidates in the physical standard test.
The candidates who have given the option in the application form for the post of Sub-Inspector (Confidential) will be expected to appear and succeed in the shorthand test of qualifying nature on successful completion of the typing test.
On the basis of marks / superiority obtained in the online written examination by the successful candidates in the requisite computer typing and stenography test for the qualification of the post, the selection will be considered in the light of the reservation admissible in the mandate.
