Volkswagen announced the start of the orders in Italy of the new Pro 4MOTION version of the ID.4. Announced about a month ago, it is a model that goes under the ID.4 GTX. The list price for our market starts at 56,500 euros. In addition to the arrival of this new variant of the electric SUV, the German brand has also announced some small innovations for the ID.4 GTX and ID.5 GTX models.
The new Volkswagen ID.4 Pro 4MOTION features a powertrain with double electric motor able to deliver 195 kW (265 hp). The main driving power is provided by the permanent magnet synchronous motor on the rear axle which delivers a power of 150 kW. In front we find an 80 kW asynchronous motor which is used when more power is needed.
Good performance. There top speed is limited to 180 km / h, while it takes 6.9 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km / h. To power the whole a 77 kWh battery (usable) able to offer a range of up to 514 km according to the WLTP cycle. In direct current, the accumulator can recharge at a maximum power of 135 kW. Volkswagen declares a time of 36 minutes to go from 5 to 80% of the accumulator capacity.
Thanks to all-wheel drive, the maximum towable weight of the ID.4 Pro 4MOTION increases by 200 kg to 1,400 kg. Depending on the position of the rear seat backrests, the boot has a capacity of 543 to 1,575 liters.
As mentioned at the beginning, there are also some small innovations for the GTX range. The wording of the GTX versions is enriched by the initials 4MOTION, similarly to the rest of the Volkswagen range, to highlight the presence of all-wheel drive. Furthermore, i models ID.4 GTX and ID.5 GTX they will be able to have even more complete standard equipment. The interiors of these models can now count on a new color of the dashboard and door panels in Soul Black, with red contrasting stitching. Finally, the tinted rear windows become part of the standard specification.
