Good news coming for users of Waze, one of the most used navigation apps. In fact, Latest beta software includes “Coolwalk” support – as announced by a post on Reddit – the new interface which considerably improves the user experience of the “Android Auto” platform. The novelty, up to now, has already been made available to many users, however for a complete diffusion it will be necessary to wait for the update in the stable version (which should arrive in the coming weeks).
In particular, Waze users will now be able to use the new features, starting with the possibility of dividing the screen to use two applications at the same time, such as an app like Waze and a music player. In short, this is a novelty expected by many users, just as the update to the new Android Auto interface is expected by many. In fact, as of now, Google has not yet implemented support for “Coolwalk” for most users despite announcing the launch of the update just after New Years.
In detail, in a survey organized by “9to5Google”it has emerged that over 80% of Android Auto users still haven’t gained access to the new interface.
Finally, staying on the subject, the latest update to the platform has introduced a rather relevant novelty, i.e. the removal of the option to turn off Android Auto Wireless. With this modification, therefore, the possibility of deactivating the possibility of connecting wirelessly or via an adapter is completely removed.
