The reactions are done as always (in case you missed them, we have already made two guides on this: How to put reactions on WhatsApp for Android And How to put reactions on Whatsapp with iPhone): just hold down for a long time on the message you want to react to, and in addition to the 6 suggested emojis you will also find a +, through which you can choose any smiley you want as a reaction. The feature is currently in rollout for all versions of WhatsApp, including WhatsApp Web, but it may take days before it is actually available to all users.
