Also arrives on the web version of YouTube Music comes a novelty that was introduced three years ago in the mobile application, namely the Activity Bar with moods. For those who have never used it, it is characterized by the presence of various moods, designed to sync with what appears in the Home feed.
Now we also find it on the browser version of YouTube Music, and similar to what we saw in the tablet view, it is aligned to the left and appears under the main app bar, where we can switch between Home, Explore, Library and Search . Here is a screen showing the little novelty.
Selecting one of them – Recharge, Relax, Workout, Commute and Focus – YouTube Music will update with a feed of songs, albums and playlists that match our mood. Not only that, the web page will also modify the background image visible at the top, to make it more suitable for the type of content. To return to the main feed, just click again on the selected mood and we will thus be able to switch between different moods and related content.
In recent months, the web version of YouTube Music has introduced several changes to the interface, for example a gradient similar to the one used by the Android application has been added, albeit much more nuanced, and the Library tab has also been revised to adapt to the remake introduced on mobile devices.
We talked about these and other changes in detail a few weeks ago in this news, which we invite you to read again for more information.
