The rest 20% are filled by non-exams i.e. merit. Its condition is that in this, the student should have at least 80% marks in 10th and 12th. Also, there should be more than 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Maths of 12th. All such children are selected on the basis of merit.

There is no entrance exam in MTech, but there is a direct interview based on the performance of 10th, 12th and B.Tech. Interview facility is provided not only in Dehradun but also in many other cities.

Similarly, there is no entrance in management courses also. For BBA, you should have at least 50% marks in 10th and 12th. There is an interview and group discussion for all the applicants.
