According to TVLine, The CW’s John Diggle-centered Arrowverse series, Justice U, is still moving forward with its development. Speaking with the outlet, David Ramsey revealed that the upcoming project is now on its second draft of scriptwriting.

“We’re on the second draft of a script, and we just closed the deal on a writer,” Ramsey said. “I’m not sure I can say her name, so I won’t, but we’re very close to submitting our second draft.”

This is a surprise given the Arrowverse’s seemingly impending conclusion with the upcoming final season of The Flash, which is currently the only original Arrowverse show that’s left on the network.

Justice U will reportedly center around Diggle (Ramsey) as he looks to recruit five young metahumans to go undercover as freshmen at a prestigious university. There, he will oversee their education while also training them to become the next set of major superheroes.

Alongside his starring role, Ramsey is also expected to direct the potential pilot of Justice U. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and David Madden of Berlanti Productions are serving as executive producers, with Geoff Johns also attached to the series.
