A verdict has been reached in That 70s Show star Danny Masterson’s rape retrial, with the jury finding the actor guilty on the majority of the three counts.

Deadline has reported that Danny Masterson is facing 30 years in prison as a result of being found guilty on two counts of the “forceable rape” of two Jane Does, though the jury did not reach a unanimous verdict.

The jury foreperson described the panel to those present in the courtroom as “hopelessly deadlocked” in regards to the third count with the last count standing at eight guilty and four not guilty. This brings to mind Masterson’s original trial, which was declared a mistrial due to the jury remaining deadlocked on a verdict.

The actor was handcuffed and taken into custody following the reading of the verdict, with the next hearing for the matter set for August 4. The outlet described the actor as “expressionless” when the verdict was read out.

Masterson was arrested in 2020 for the alleged assaults and faced up to 45 years in prison if he was found guilty on all three counts. This verdict comes after the retrial began on April 24 and wrapped on May 12.
