Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden demise came as a rude shock for the entire film fraternity. His last film ‘Dil Bechara’ was a memorable one, where he portrayed the role of Manny. However, due to his untimely demise, some of the post-production work of the film like dubbing and edits were left. Hence, the makers roped in an RJ to finish the final work in the film.

Yes, the final dialogues were not in Sushant’s voice. It was of RJ Aditya’s. Back in 2020, Aditya had taken to his Instagram handle to share the news, of him dubbing for SSR in Dil Bechara. “Sharing a video and the end credits’ scenem he wrote, Hello Guys!! PROUD to share that I’ve been featured in Special Thanks in the film #dilbechara”.

He added, “Having dubbed for #sushantsinghrajput SSR’s voice for a few parts (p.s. not the whole film), I think this is the biggest tribute I could’ve given to him 🙏🏻. #ssr wherever you are we love you and hope you’re in a peace. Thank you for leaving such a legacy behind!
Also a big thanks to @mukeshchhabracc for trusting me to do the voice part for @sushantsinghrajput”

“Pic 1 – My Name in Special Thanks! 🙏🏻 Pic 2 – the Voice Audition for Sushant (it’s a dialogue from MS Dhoni- an untold story) .. don’t want to post anything from the film right now cause I don’t want to give spoilers… may be later!!”

Earlier in an interview with a news portal, Aditya shared, that it took him quite some time to prep for Sushant’s voice in the movie because it wasn’t just about mimicking his voice but also get the emotions of the character right as well. “It wasn’t about lip-syncing. So, I was on video calls with the team asking them if everything was okay and how I could do it better and just to get the entire emotion right,” he added.
