How Love Is Blind’s Zack Goytowski Was Misrepresented By Editing

Zack Goytowski has been embroiled in an embarrassing scandal since Love Is Blind season 4, but the criminal defense lawyer is now clarifying that he did not plagiarize a song from the band, Ludo. Zack first proposed to Irina Solomonva during the Netflix dating show, before dumping her and getting engaged to Bliss Poureetezadi. However, many viewers are fixated on Zack’s scandal, which involved him singing a song on the show.

Zack experienced a difficult decision on Love Is Blind season 4, as he fell for both Irina and Bliss. While Zack was roasted for first picking season villain Irina over sweetheart Bliss, he was soon called out for something else. Zack performed a song on the show for Irina, while dating her in the pods. He referred to it as an original song. However, fans quickly revealed that the lyrics of the song matched that of a song by the aforementioned band. This led to viewers calling Zack out for being a plagiarist, which led to him addressing the scandal on social media.

Love Is Blind’s Zack Addresses Song Controversy

Zack took to TikTok to address his song-stealing controversy. “This scandal is false,” Zack titled the video, as he discussed being called a plagiarist; and, “thief.” Zack shared exclusive footage from the pods, which included a line that didn’t make it to Love Is Blind season 4. “I wrote you a song,” Zack said to Irina in the aired clip. It’s not an original. it’s one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite bands, but I have changed around the lyrics a little bit for you, he said in the unseen footage. Zack credited the band Ludo with being an incredible band, and cleared up that he was in no way trying to plagiarize their music.

Love Is Blind Fans Defend Zack Goytowski

Zack’s explanation video earned him fresh support from Love Is Blind season 4 commenters and viewers. “I hate how Netflix made you look on the show thus far. I sure you’re a solid dude and you deserve the world!,” one comment with over 4,000 likes reads. “I’m here for the receipts. I felt like editing did you dirty from the jump,.” another commenter wrote about the Love Is Blind season 4 cast member. “Why did we assume the LAWYER wouldnt come with receipts,” another viewer weighed in. I was like surely a lawyer would no netter than to plagiarize,” another user wrote to Zack.

While Love Is Blind fans are now rushing to Zack’s defense, as a result of the new footage, he has received more mixed responses overall. Zack’s choice to pick Irina over Bliss was met with backlash, as Irina has been deemed a villain. However, Bliss and Zack did get back together afterward, forming a sweet relationship that is now progressing towards marriage. Ultimately, the Love Is Blind season 4 finale on April 14 will reveal if Zack and Bliss tie the knot. Perhaps he will be left searching for love, after airing two failed romances on the hit Netflix show.
