Prior seasons of Jack Ryan consisted of 8 episodes, and it’s unclear why the final season clocks in at just 6 hours, whether it’s due to budgetary or creative issues. Jack Ryan season 4 was filmed back-to-back with season 3, and the narrative ties between the two seasons are notably tighter than seasons 1 and 2. Will Jack Ryan Return For Season 5?

Jack Ryan season 4 is the final season on Prime Video. In an interview with Screen Rant, Wendell Pierce and Michael Kelly indicated their interest in returning for more seasons of Jack Ryan, but the series is officially over on Prime Video with no plans for more Jack Ryan. It’s possible audience demand and massive streaming numbers could entice Prime Video to continue John Krasinski’s version of Jack Ryan, but it’s also possible the I.P. will be rebooted once again for another series or more feature films in time.

It’s also unclear what the status is of the reported Rainbow Six spinoff, which hasn’t been confirmed by Prime Video. Michael Peña joining Jack Ryan season 4 as Domingo Chavez seemingly sets up a Rainbow Six spinoff led by Peña, but there was also talk of a Rainbow Six project starring Michael B. Jordan as John Clark, continuing his story from the 2021 film Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse. It surely won’t be too long before Prime Video announces the next steps in Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan franchise after season 4 concludes.
