Happy birthday, Karan Johar. On the filmmaker’s 50th birthday, wishes for the celebrated multi-hyphenate are flowing in from all quarters. Friends and colleagues of Karan Johar have been wishing him on his milestone birthday with the choicest of notes and social media posts. Juhi Chawla, who has been friends with the birthday boy for several years now went one step further and pledged 500 trees in the filmmaker’s name. On the occasion, Juhi shared a collage of four images of herself with Karan Johar, recording their journey through the years. In the caption, the actress said, “Karan, happy happy happy birthday. 500 trees for you on this very special occasion.”
Referring to Karan Johar’s much-awaited and talked about birthday party scheduled for this evening, Juhi Chawla added, “See you tonight at the glitziest party in all of Bollywood. I am putting my sunglasses on…The starry turnout is going to be blinding.”
Karisma Kapoor wished the “golden boy” with a post on Instagram Stories.

Actor Arjun Kapoor also shared an image with Karan Johar on the happy occasion and wrote, “Happy birthday, Karan Johar. I’m happy I found a picture where we look like we’re posing for a 2 hero film… Karan-Arjun quite literally.” The image shared was clicked on the sets of the director’s talk show, Koffee With Karan.
Varun Dhawan shared a video in which he is singing “Happy Birthday” in Karan Johar’s presence, along with his Jug Jugg Jeeyo co-star Kiara Advani, on set. In the caption, he wrote, “Happy birthday, Karan. You know you mean the world to me. Thanks for always being there and being patient with me always. #jugjuggjeyo. Happy 50th.”
Kiara Advani too shared the same video and said, “To mine and everyone’s absolute favourite. Happy happy birthday. Karan Johar. We love you.”
