Amazon Studios has released the official Red, White & Royal Blue photos for its upcoming film adaptation of Casey McQuiston’s 2019 romance novel. It will be available for streaming on August 11, exclusively on Prime Video.

The photos features a first look at The Kissing Booth’s Taylor Zakhar Perez and Purple Hearts’ Nicholas Galitzine as the U.S. president’s son Alex Claremont-Diaz and Prince Henry of Britain. It provides a glimpse into their love story, which begins with a lifelong rivalry but gives way to friendship.

Who’s the Cast of Red, White & Royal Blue?

Red, White & Royal Blue is directed and executive produced by Tony winner Matthew López from a screenplay he co-wrote with Ted Malawer. Joining Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine are Clifton Collins Jr., Sarah Shahi, Rachel Hilson, with Stephen Fry and Uma Thurman, Ellie Bamber, Thomas Flynn, Malcolm Atobrah, Akshay Khanna, Sharon D Clarke, Aneesh Sheth, and Juan Castano.

“Alex Claremont-Diaz, the son of the President of the United States (Uma Thurman), and Britain’s Prince Henry have a lot in common: Stunning good looks, undeniable charisma, international popularity … and a total disdain for each other,” reads the synopsis. “Separated by an ocean, their long-running feud hasn’t really been an issue, until a disastrous—and very public—altercation at a royal event becomes tabloid fodder, driving a potential wedge in U.S./British relations at the worst possible time. Going into damage-control mode, their families and handlers force the two rivals into a staged “truce.” But as Alex and Henry’s icy relationship unexpectedly begins to thaw into a tentative friendship, the friction that existed between them sparks something deeper than they ever expected.”
