Industry leading audio equipment company Bose is teaming up with Warner Records to launch an NFT collection titled ‘Stickmen Toys’. As its name suggests, the project is based around the producer duo ‘The Stickmen Project,’ and includes audio-visual elements that have been made with help from Kapsule and Probably Nothing.
The collection consists of 5,000 utility-enabled assets, each with a unique 30-second track that’s been generated from a range of bass lines, rums, melodies, and sound effects that were originally produced by The Stickmen Project.
On the visual side of things, each asset will include a unique Bose-themed avatar which comes with custom hand-painted traits. On the physical side of things, holders will be able to claim a free pair of Bose x Stickmen Toys QuietComfort45 headphones or SoundLink Flex Bluetooth speakers, as well as access to exclusive merchandise from the partnership in the future.
The NFTs will also provide holders with governance power when it comes to shaping the project’s direction. In addition, and in following a model that’s been pioneered by the likes of Yuga Labs, holders will also have full IP rights over their NFTs, meaning they can leverage the asset’s audio-visual qualities for commercial use.
The NFTs will drop on the project’s website on a TBA date, wherein following its intent to build loyalty, trust, and empowerment in its community, they will be free to mint. As zero revenue will be generated from the mint, the project will reward its artists by funneling all secondary sales revenue to them.
