UP Board Secretary Nina Srivastava said that the result will be declared on April 27 at 12.30 pm at the headquarters of the UP Board in Prayagraj. He has said that this time 58 lakh 6 thousand 922 candidates were registered in the UP Board’s High School and Intermediate examination. Out of which 6,69,860 candidates had left the examination due to the strictness of the board. According to him, the board examinations were conducted from February 7 to March 2. After which the work of evaluation of three crore 20 lakh copies was started from March 8 and was completed in 18 working days. According to UP Board Secretary Nina Srivastava, the result of UP Board was declared in 2018 on 29th April. Even then it was the most quickly declared result in the last several decades.

Duty of 1 lakh 24 thousand 796 examiners was imposed for the evaluation of board copies. Of these, 79064 were involved in the evaluation of high school copies while 45732 examiners were involved in the evaluation of intermediate copies. This time the examiners completed the evaluation work of 1.90 crore copies of high school and 1.30 crore copies of intermediate. According to UP Board Secretary Neena Srivastava, voice recorders were also used along with CCTV cameras at the examination centers for the first time to make the board’s examination a mock-free examination.
