Teddi and Andrew immediately hit it off on the beach, with Andrew receiving the first date card of the season and asking Teddi to go with him.
While the date with Teddi and Andrew seemed to go well, for the most part, some fans noticed that there were also some awkward moments. After returning from their date, Andrew and Teddi continued to spend time together on the beach and Teddi even accepted a rose from Andrew at the first rose ceremony. The next day, however, Teddi seemed to completely change her mind and decided to leave the beach without telling anyone after she admitted to Andrew that she did not know if things between them could work.
Teddi’s Post On IG Hinted That She Left Because Of Production
After a recent post on her Instagram account, many fans believe that Teddi‘s exit was prompted by an issue with producers. Following the airing of the episode where she self-eliminates, Teddi posted on Instagram to reflect on some things that she was proud of herself for. Teddi wrote that she was proud of herself for “leaving environments that are cruel to me & the people around me” and “sticking to my boundaries no matter how many times people in authority try to cross them.” Fans quickly began to speculate that the post was referring to Bachelor In Paradise producers and that they may have done or said something to Teddi to make her want to leave.
Some Fans Believe Teddi Left As She Was Only Interested In Andrew
While many fans were sold on the theory regarding producers, others felt that Teddi simply wanted to leave as she had only seen a potential relationship with Andrew. Teddi explained to Andrew that she had only come to the beach to meet him and said that if it could not work with him, she did not feel that she could find anyone else on the beach. Teddi expressed that while she was attracted to Andrew and cared for him, she ultimately felt like something was missing from their relationship.
Other Fans Believe Teddi’s Departure Could Have Been Influenced By Rodney
While the majority of fans believe that Teddi’s exit was influenced by either producers or her lack of passion with Andrew, others also believe that her brief conversation with Rodney could have also been a factor. Rodney arrived on the beach shortly before Teddi left, and he immediately pulled her to have a conversation. While Teddi seemed happy to talk to Rodney, some fans believe that she would have stayed if she truly saw potential with him. Rodney later went to ask Teddi on a date, but she had already left by that point.
